HONG KONG

Hong Kong has a free market economy highly dependent on international trade. Natural resources are limited, and food and raw materials must be imported. Imports and exports, including re exports, each exceed GDP in dollar value. Despite its British colonial past, Hong Kong has always stuck to its roots, and the culture beneath the glitz is pure Chinese. Hong Kong is located on the southeastern coast of China. Hong Kong is bound by the Guangdong province of China to the north and the South China Sea to the south.
